The (Unnamed) Comedy Troupe has been around since 1992 and was an outgrowth of performers and writers breaking away from one of Dallas' longest running comedy troupes which is now, however, defunct. The (Unnamed) Comedy Troupe does musical numbers, parodies, sketch comedy, satire and commercial parodies as well as audience participation IMPROVISATIONAL scenes and games. We "specialize" in more adult oriented humor about the battle of the sexes and often gear our improvs to reflect relationship themes. In our current show we do the following improvs:

Story, Story (or Story Time) -players are assigned literary genres and switch off to tell a story.
Customer Service - Customer returns a loved one's present to a store, but has to guess what it is.
Blues Improv - 3 Players and Live band create "blues verses" based around audience suggestions.
Acting Styles - 2 Players construct a scene while being given differing acting genres.
Scene Building - 2 Players attempt to meet and fall in love while the scene is continually stopped to allow the audience to give them new obstacles, characterizations, challenges.
