Currently we are playing at the Ice House Annex on selected Wednesdays and Thursdays. Tickets are $5, but we have discount offers too.

Performance length:

Our shows are currently running about one and a half to two hours, with an intermission. We do mostly improv, but also some sketches and some monologues.

The LEGITIMATE FREAKS have trained under the Second City improvisors at the Upfront theatre in Santa Monica and, more recently, at the Groundlings in Hollywood. We have been performing together since early 1993.

We have performed at a variety of locations in the Los Angeles area including: The WILD SIDE theatre, The Upfront Theatre, Attic Theatre, Ice House Annex, and the Un-Urban Cafe.

Our members also can be seen in such places as

• the straight-to-video movie "Deadly Diversions"
• the Cal State Northridge Student film "Deskriders"
• a recent episode of TV's "REAL SEX"
• as chief financial officer of the World POG federation
• Van Gogh's Ear, a tasty restaurant in Venice, California

Typical Games:

We mix it up a bit, but play such favorites as Stage Picture, Questions, Last Letter-First Letter, ABC, switch (freeze tag), Strangely speaking, dubbed movie, and conducted story.

Directions:

The Ice House Annex is located on Mentor Ave, which is just east of Old Town Pasadena. Mentor is one block east of Lake avenue. The Ice house is just north of Colorado Blvd.
